Newsletter -Blow the trumpet - Sep 2024


Greetings beloved

We greet you all in the wonderful Name of our Great God and Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ. We hope you are doing good and that it is well with your soul. 📖

Here are the scriptures for the month:

Joel 2:1;15 “Blow the trumpet in Zion…”

Zechariah 9:14 “The LORD will be seen…”

Jeremiah 51:27 “Blow trumpet among the nations…”

Matthew 24:31 “He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather His elect…”

We praise the LORD in every circumstance, and we give thanks to the LORD for His mercies and loving kindness. Our first prayer meetings with some of the men here in Dewetsdorp went well. We have weekly gatherings on Monday mornings from 5am-7am. It is awesome to see the men touched by the LORD. 


Please pray also for us regarding starting a fellowship for the young adults who just finished school. We believe the LORD is releasing us to start that ministry also this month. Those meetings will be God willing on Sunday afternoons in English from 2pm-4pm.

The ministry that the LORD has given my wife gets women praying together every week to crochet and knit different things that people can use or wear. We give it away on the outreaches. They gather every week for 3 hours. The women that have attended so far were deeply touched and found it edifying. We praise the LORD for the provision of facecloths for the people at the old-aged home. There are many elderly people who never get a visit from their families. We are planning to reach out to them as well. See the pictures below:



We continued with the ministry at the school; we have Bible study on Thursdays and an English church service on Sunday mornings. The new converts each receive a new Bible. We handed out new Bibles and prayed over each of them for a hunger and a thirst for the Word of God. See the photos below of some of them.




Please continue to pray with us for His future provision as well as for the 4 schools in our area.

We celebrated 8 birthdays this month where we could pray for them and bless them while trusting our Father to bring them to a place where they walk in the fullness of His purpose for their lives in His holy Name. Below is a photo of two of them.


We also had water baptisms. HalleluYah!! The LORD is faithful. See photos of one of them below:



Thank you to all of you who gave so that the Good Word, Who is the Good SEED, can go out and accomplish His will in the lives of these precious sons and daughters.

 

Please continue to pray for us:

 

❖ For my wife’s health. We trust the LORD for her complete healing. Her next appointment at the state hospital is scheduled for next month. The Dr gave her a prescription for 6 months. She has also been blessed by someone in the local congregation with a natural medication that makes her feels much better.

❖ We praise the LORD for His provision for the two tyres that we could replace, we trust Him for provision to replace the remaining 2 tyres. Hopefully, we will be able to do that as soon as we get the necessary funds for this.

❖ For my mother. She has moved to Dewetsdorp. Please pray for her complete healing, her eyes have cataracts, she needs the operation. She saw the eye specialist on the 30th of May, and she is scheduled for another scan on the 18th of November. The Dr said he can do her right eye only. She has been booked for the operation on the 4th of December.

❖ All the counselling sessions that are scheduled for the coming month.

❖ All the Bible study-, ministering and Church services scheduled for the coming month.

❖ All the teachings going out on online social media platforms.
