Newsletter -Jesus Christ our High Priest - Oct 2024

Greetings beloved

We greet you all in the wonderful Name of our Great God and Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ. We hope you are doing good and that it is well with your soul. 📖

Here are the scriptures for the month:

Hebrews 3:1 (NKJV)

Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus,

Hebrews 4:14-15 (NKJV)

Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Hebrews 6:20 (NKJV)

where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 9:14 (NKJV)

how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

We praise the LORD in every circumstance and give thanks to Him for His mercies and lovingkindness. Our prayer meetings with the men here in Dewetsdorp continued. We have weekly gatherings on Monday mornings from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. It is awesome to see the men touched by the LORD. 

We also hosted a Bible study camp on one of the local farmer's farms. Thirty-two teenagers listened to the Word of God being preached and most of them experienced hearing God’s voice, they enjoyed seeking His face. There were also several water baptisms and baptisms in the Holy Spirit. What a glorious day! See the pictures below:









The ministry that the LORD has given my wife gets women praying together every week to crochet and knit different things that people can use or wear. We give it away on the outreaches. They gather every week for 3 hours. The women who attended were deeply touched and found it edifying. We praise the LORD for the provision of facecloths for the people at the old-aged home. Many elderly people never get a visit from their families. We did reach out to them as well. See the picture below:


We continued with the ministry at the school; we have Bible study on Thursdays and an English church service on Sunday mornings. The new converts each receive a new Bible. We handed out new Bibles and prayed over each of them for a hunger and a thirst for the Word of God. I also had the privilege to work among the boys at the hostel. I played ball with them and spent some time with them to get to know them better. We took them also for a walk to the local mountain next to Dewetsdorp to pray there on the mountain. Please continue to pray with us for His future provision as well as for the 4 schools in our area.

We celebrated 11 birthdays this month where we could pray for them and bless them while trusting our Father to bring them to a place where they walk in the fullness of His purpose for their lives in His holy Name.

Thank you to all of you who gave so that the Good Word, Who is the Good SEED, can go out and accomplish His will in the lives of these precious sons and daughters.

Please continue to pray for us:

❖ For my wife’s health. We trust the LORD for her complete healing. Her next appointment at the state hospital is scheduled for 30th October 2024. The Dr gave her a prescription for 6 months. She has also been blessed by someone in the local congregation with a natural medication that makes her feel better.

❖ We praise the LORD for His provision in allowing us to replace the tyres, and we trust Him for the provision to replace the remaining tyre. The car also broke down on the 27th of October on our way to church; the control arm on the right rear wheel tore off from the chassis. We praise the LORD that we were driving slowly and that nobody was hurt. The local motor workshop will inform us of the cost to repair the vehicle. Hopefully, we will be able to do that as soon as we have the necessary funds.


❖ For my mother. Please pray for her complete healing, her eyes have cataracts, and she needs the operation. She saw the eye specialist on the 30th of May, and she is scheduled for another scan on the 18th of November. The Dr said he can do her right eye only. She has been booked for the operation on the 4th of December 2024.

❖ All the counselling sessions that are scheduled for the coming month.

❖ All the Bible study-, ministering and Church services scheduled for the coming month.

❖ All the teachings going out on online social media platforms.

Thank you for all your continued prayers and support with a word of encouragement or financially so that we can continue the work of the Kingdom and for the provision of everything in our daily lives.
