Newsletter - This is the LOVE of God - Feb 2025
Greetings beloved
We greet you all in the wonderful Name of our Great
God and Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ. We hope you are doing good and that it
is well with your soul. 📖
Here are the scriptures for the
month:
'For this is the love of God, that we keep His
commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. '
I John 5:3
But I know you, that you do not have the love of
God in you.
Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love
of God and into the patience of Christ.
II Thessalonians 3:5 (NKJV)
'Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for
the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.'
Jude 1:21
'But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God
is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. '
I John 2:5
'The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love
of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.'
II Corinthians 13:14
We praise the LORD in every circumstance and give thanks to Him for His mercies and lovingkindness. We have a small group of men here in Dewetsdorp praying every week. It is awesome to see the men touched by the LORD and prayers answered powerfully. We have been praying for revival in Dewetsdorp from last year and the LORD has answered our prayers. There will be a divine evangelism crusade in Dewetsdorp from the 18th – 23rd March. HalleluYah!!! Please pray for all the planning and organizing but most of all souls to be saved and lives to be made whole.
My wife gets women to pray together
weekly. They crochet and knit different things that people can use or wear. We
give it away on the outreaches. The women who attended were deeply touched and
found it edifying. We thank the LORD for providing facecloths, wool, and soap
bars for the people. There are opportunities to minister at the old-aged home
and the local police station. Many elderly people never get a visit from their
families. We got a contact at the local police station so we reached out to
rape victims by giving them a facecloth and a bar of soap as a comfort gift.
“They desired only that we should remember
the poor, the very thing which I also was eager to do.”
Galatians 2:10
Ministering to the poor:
We have also been ministering to some poor families
here in Dewetsdorp since May 2024, helping with food, clothing, household
cleaning products, and toiletries as the LORD provides. This opens a door for
us to do counselling and pray with them. Thank you to all who gave to make this
ministry possible in Jesus Name. There were also opportunities at our
church where we would hand out monthly food parcels and we could then share the
gospel to these families.
Taking hands with one of our sisters in the local
church to minister every week to the poor people in the streets of Dewetsdorp
and giving them a meal. I can then share the Gospel and pray for those who need
prayer.
We continued with the ministry at the school; we have Bible study on
Thursdays and an English church service on Sunday mornings. The new converts
each receive a new Bible. We handed out 68 new Bibles since the beginning of the year and prayed over each of
them for a hunger and a thirst for the Word of God. I also had the privilege to
work among the learners at the hostel where I could minister to some of these
boys and girls who needed deliverance and healing in Jesus Name. We also
needed 32 new Bibles for this month and the Lord gave them to us, so we handed them out. HalleluYah!!!
Please continue to pray with us for His future provision and the 4 schools in our area.
We celebrated 7 birthdays this month, and we could
pray for them and bless them while trusting our Father to bring them to a place
where they can walk in the fullness of His purpose for their lives in His holy
Name.
Here is a video of part of one of the songs that they sang during one of the praise and worship sessions…
Please continue to pray for us:
❖ For my wife’s health. We trust the LORD for her complete healing.
Her next appointment at the state hospital is scheduled for 10th April
2025. The Dr referred her to the skin doctor at the state hospital.
❖ We praise the LORD for His faithfulness. We need to service our
vehicle on the 3rd of March and we also need to replace the
compressor pump on the car for the air conditioning. Hopefully, we can do that
as soon as we have the necessary funds.
❖ We were invited to minister in Lesotho. Please pray for us to be
able to renew 4 passports in our family so we can go!!
❖ For my mother. Please pray for her complete healing, her eyes had
cataracts, and she went for an operation. The Dr operated on her right eye
only. The left eye cannot be done due to financial constraints. We plan to take her next month for the eye test. We praise the Lord for
her teeth, which were sorted out last month.
❖ All the counselling sessions that are scheduled for the coming
month.
❖ All the Bible study-, ministering and Church services scheduled
for the coming month.
❖ All the teachings going out on online social media platforms.
Thank you for all your continued prayers and
support with a word of encouragement or financially so that we can continue the
work of the Kingdom and for the provision of everything in our daily
lives.
