Newsletter - Have you received the Holy Spirit - March 2025

Greetings beloved

We greet you all in the wonderful Name of our Great God and Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ. We hope you are doing good and that it is well with your soul. ๐Ÿ“–

Here are the scriptures for the month:

'he said to them, โ€œDid you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?โ€ So they said to him, โ€œWe have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.โ€'

Acts 19:2

'When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. '

Acts 19:5-6

'Then Peter said to them, โ€œRepent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.โ€'

Acts 2:38-39

We praise the LORD in every circumstance and give thanks to Him for His mercies and lovingkindness. We have a small group of men here in Dewetsdorp praying every week. It is awesome to see the men touched by the LORD and prayers answered powerfully. We have been praying for revival in Dewetsdorp from last year, and the LORD has answered our prayers. We had a divine evangelism crusade in Dewetsdorp from the 18th โ€“ the 21st of March. HalleluYah!!! We saw countless healings and miracles. So many people gave their hearts to Jesus and we received all those names and contact numbers of those who devoted their lives to the King. We will be calling them and making sure that they are discipled and have fellowship regularly.

There were also a lot of water baptisms see pictures below:

HalleluYah! revival in Dewetsdorp

My wife gets women to pray together weekly. They crochet and knit different things that people can use or wear. We give it away on the outreaches. The women who attended were deeply touched and found it edifying. We thank the LORD for providing facecloths, wool, and bars of soap for the people. There are opportunities to minister at the old-age home and the local police station. Many elderly people never get a visit from their families. We got a contact at the local police station so we reached out to rape victims by giving them a facecloth and a bar of soap as a comfort gift. See picture below of Theresa, the police captain and my wife Ilse:

โ€œThey desired only that we should remember the poor, the very thing which I also was eager to do.โ€

Galatians 2:10

Ministering to the poor:

We have also been ministering to some poor families here in Dewetsdorp since May 2024, helping with food, clothing, household cleaning products, and toiletries as the LORD provides. This opens a door for us to do counselling and pray with them. Thank you to all who gave to make this ministry possible in Jesus Name. There were also opportunities at our church where we would hand out monthly food parcels, and we could then share the gospel with these families. We call this the โ€œ5 Loaves and 2 Fish Project,โ€ and we trust our Father for multiplication.

Taking hands with one of our sisters in the local church to minister every week to the poor people in the streets of Dewetsdorp and giving them a meal. I can then share the Gospel and pray for those who need prayer.

We continued with the ministry at the school; we have Praise and worship and Bible study on Sunday mornings. The new converts each receive a new Bible. We handed out 25 new Bibles and prayed over each of them for a hunger and a thirst for the Word of God. I also had the privilege to work among the learners at the hostel, where I could minister to some of these boys and girls who needed deliverance and healing in Jesus Name. We also need new Bibles, so if the Lord puts it on your heart to give, so we can hand out these new Bibles, please contact me. HalleluYah!!!

Please continue to pray with us for His future provision and also for the 4 schools in our area.

We celebrated 9 birthdays this month, and we could pray for them and bless them while trusting our Father to bring them to a place where they can walk in the fullness of His purpose for their lives in His holy Name.

Here is a video of part of one of the songs that we sang during one of the evenings of the praise and worship sessions at the crusadeโ€ฆ

Here is a video of two of the many baptisms that we had at the crusade:

Please continue to pray for us:

โ– For my wifeโ€™s health. We trust the LORD for her complete healing. Her next appointment at the state hospital is scheduled for 10th April 2025. The doctor referred her to the skin doctor at the state hospital.

โ– We praise the LORD for His faithfulness. We managed to service our vehicle on the 3rd of March, and we need to replace the compressor pump on the car for the air conditioning and 3 lower control arm bushes. Hopefully, we can do that as soon as we have the necessary funds.

โ– We were invited to minister in Lesotho. Please pray for us to be able to renew 4 passports in our family so we can go!!

โ– For my mother. Please pray for her complete healing. Her eyes had cataracts, and she went for an operation. The doctor operated on her right eye only. The left eye cannot be done due to financial constraints. She went for the eye test on the 19th of March 2025. We praise the Lord her new glasses to improve her sight.

โ– All the counselling sessions that are scheduled for the coming month.

โ– All the Bible studies-, ministering and Church services scheduled for the coming month.

โ– All the teachings that will be going out on online social media platforms.

Thank you for all your continued prayers and support with a word of encouragement or financially so that we can continue the work of the Kingdom and for the provision of everything in our daily lives.
