Newsletter - Maturing in Christ - May 2025

Greetings beloved

We greet you all in the wonderful Name of our Great God and Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ. We hope you are doing good and that it is well with your soul. 📖

Here are the scriptures for the month:

Mark 4:8  And other seeds fell into good soil and produced grain, growing up and increasing and yielding thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold

Ephesians 4:13-14

till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,

Philippians 1:6

being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

Colossians 1:10

that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

We praise the LORD in every circumstance and give thanks to Him for His mercies and lovingkindness. We have a small group of men here in Dewetsdorp praying every week. It is awesome to see the men touched by the LORD and prayers answered powerfully. We have been praying for our Father to show us when and how to follow up on those new disciples. The Lord helped us to get the townhall for a day of preaching and ministering to these people on the 17th of May. Several healings were received and we had an awesome time in the LORD.

On the 22nd of May we were asked to go and pray at the local SAPS as well as on the mountain looking over Dewetsdorp where several believers joined us. What an awesome prophetic time…

My wife gets women to pray together weekly. They crochet and knit different things that people can use or wear. We give it away on the outreaches. The women who attended were deeply touched and found it edifying. We thank the LORD for the facecloths, wool, and bars of soap provided. There are opportunities to minister at the local old-age home and police station. Many elderly people never get a visit from their families. We also got a contact at the local police station so we reached out to rape victims by giving them a facecloth and a bar of soap as a comfort gift. We handed out those blankets completed for the elderly:

“They desired only that we should remember the poor, the very thing which I also was eager to do.”

Galatians 2:10

Ministering to the poor:

We have also been ministering to some poor families here in Dewetsdorp since May 2024, helping with food, clothing, household cleaning products, and toiletries as the LORD provides. This opens a door for us to do counselling and pray with them. Thank you to all who gave to make this ministry possible in Jesus Name. There were also opportunities at our church where we would hand out monthly food parcels, and we could then share the gospel with these families. We call this the “5 Loaves and 2 Fish Project,” and we trust our Father for multiplication.

Taking hands with one of our sisters in the local church to minister every week to the poor people in the streets of Dewetsdorp and giving them a meal. I can then share the Gospel and pray for those who need prayer.

We continued with the ministry at the school; we have Praise and worship and Bible study on Sunday mornings. The new converts each receive a new Bible. We handed out new Bibles and prayed over each of them for a hunger and a thirst for the Word of God. I also had the privilege to work among the learners at the hostel, where I could minister to some of these boys and girls who needed deliverance and healing in Jesus Name. We also need new Bibles, so if the Lord puts it on your heart to give, so we can hand out these new Bibles, please contact me. HalleluYah!!! Here are pictures of some of the new Bibles we handed out:

Please continue to pray with us for His future provision and also for the 4 schools in our area.

We celebrated 9 birthdays this month, and we could pray for them and bless them while trusting our Father to bring them to a place where they can walk in the fullness of His purpose for their lives in His holy Name.

Please continue to pray for us:

 For my wife’s health. We trust the LORD for her complete healing. She has a follow-up appointment with the Dr at the state hospital in June.

 We praise the LORD for His faithfulness. We trust the LORD for a reliable 7-seater 4X4 SUV for the family since the kids are growing and the 6 of us no longer fit in a 5-seater.

 We were invited to minister in Lesotho. Praise the LORD. We can renew the 4 passports for our family so we can go!! Watch the space 😊

We are trusting the LORD for a house to minister from in Dewetsdorp. He is able!!

 All the counselling sessions that are scheduled for the coming month.

 All the Bible study, ministering and Church services scheduled for the coming month.

 All the teachings that will be going out on online social media platforms.

Thank you for all your continued prayers and support with a word of encouragement or financially so that we can continue the work of the Kingdom and for the provision of everything in our daily lives.
