Newsletter - Looking for the appearance - June 2025
Greetings beloved
We greet you all in the wonderful Name of our Great
God and Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ. We hope you are doing good and that it
is well with your soul. 📖
Here are the scriptures for the
month:
Titus 2:13 “looking for the
blessed hope, and the appearance of the glory of our great God and
Savior Jesus Christ”
1 Thess 2:19 “For what is our hope or
joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are you not even to be in the presence of our Lord
Jesus Christ at His coming?”
1 Thess 3:13 “in order to establish your
hearts blameless in holiness before God, even our Father, at the
coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints”
2 Peter 1:16 “For not having followed
fables having been cunningly devised, but becoming eyewitnesses of the majesty
of Jesus Christ, we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord.”
We praise the LORD in every circumstance and
give thanks to Him for His mercies and lovingkindness. We have a
small group of men here in Dewetsdorp praying every week. It is awesome to see
the men touched by the LORD and prayers answered powerfully. We have been
praying for our Father to raise us more men of valour who will be bold in
standing up for the Truth.
The old Donkey on the farm collapsed on the 26th of May, and we need a donkey to provide hot water for the house: see the picture below
We prayed and our Father showed me to remove the old
donkey and prepare the place for a new donkey by faith, and so we did 😊. As soon as I removed it, a brother offered to lend us a donkey.
HalleluYAH!!!
We mixed concrete and poured it to lay a better foundation for the new donkey that we trusted the LORD for
While the concrete was setting, my son and I built a table for this new donkey to stand on:
After 3 weeks, we were able to take hot showers again.
Praise our Father in heaven! see the picture below:
My wife gets women to pray together weekly. They crochet and knit different things that people can use or wear. We give it away on the outreaches. The women who attended were deeply touched and found it edifying. We trust the LORD for the facecloths, wool, and bars of soap to be provided. There are opportunities to minister at the local orphanage, old-age home and police station. Many elderly people never get a visit from their families. We also have a contact at the local police station so we can reach out to rape victims by giving them a facecloth and a bar of soap as a comfort gift. We also handed out blankets that were completed for the elderly:
The current project is to crochet 12 blankets for 12 babies in an orphanage
in Bloemfontein. See the picture below of how the baby beds look:
James 1:27 "Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world".
“They desired only that we should remember the
poor, the very thing which I also was eager to do.”
Ministering to the poor:
We have also been ministering to some poor families
here in Dewetsdorp since May 2024, helping with food, clothing, household
cleaning products, and toiletries as the LORD provides. This opens a door for
us to do counselling and pray with them. Thank you to all who gave to make this
ministry possible in Jesus Name. There were also opportunities at our
church where we would hand out monthly food parcels, and we could then share
the gospel with these families. We call this the “5 Loaves and 2 Fish Project,”
and we trust our Father for multiplication.
Taking hands with one of our sisters in the local
church who minister every week to the poor people in the streets of Dewetsdorp
and giving them a meal. I can then share the Gospel and pray for those who need
prayer.
We continued with the ministry at the school; we
have Praise and worship and Bible study on Sunday mornings. The new converts
each receive a new Bible. We handed out new Bibles and prayed over each of them
for a hunger and a thirst for the Word of God. I also had the privilege to work
among the learners at the hostel, where I could minister to some of these boys
and girls who needed deliverance and healing in Jesus Name. We also needed new Bibles, and the LORD provided, HalleluYah!!! Here are pictures of some of
the new Bibles we handed out:
Please continue to pray with us for His future
provision and also for the 4 schools in our area.
We celebrated 3 birthdays this month, and we could
pray for them and bless them while trusting our Father to bring them to a place
where they can walk in the fullness of His purpose for their lives in His holy
Name.
My mom is happy in the old age
home and we praise our Father in heaven for having her close to us
Please continue to pray for us:
❖ For my wife’s health. We trust the LORD for her complete healing.
She had a follow-up appointment with the doctor at the state hospital on the 20th
of June. We received confirmation that there is no cancer on her skin.
HalleluYah! She still has the pain in
her abdomen; the doctors were not able to determine the cause.
❖ We praise the LORD for His faithfulness. We trust the LORD
for a reliable 7-seater 4X4 SUV for the family since the kids are growing and
the 6 of us no longer fit in a 5-seater.
❖ We were invited to minister in Lesotho, and we are planning an outreach
to Namibia. Praise the LORD. We applied for the passports that had expired to
be renewed for our family so we can go!! Watch the space 😊
❖ We are trusting the LORD for a house to minister from in
Dewetsdorp. He is able!!
❖ All the counselling sessions that are scheduled for the coming
month.
❖ All the Bible study, ministering and Church services scheduled for
the coming month.
❖ All the teachings that will be going out on online social media
platforms.
Thank you for all your continued prayers and
support with a word of encouragement or financially so that we can continue the
work of the Kingdom and for the provision of everything in our daily
lives.
