Newsletter - Jesus Christ the Firstfruits - May 2024

Greetings beloved

We hope you are doing good and that it is well with your soul. 📖 I greet you all in the wonderful Name of our Great God and Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Here are the scriptures for the month:

“But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at His coming.”

1 Corinthians 15:20-23 KJV

“And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.”

Romans 8:23 KJV

“Of His own will begat He us with the Word of Truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.”

James 1:18 KJV

“These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.”

Revelation 14:4 KJV

We give thanks to the LORD for His mercies and loving kindness. We had the privilege to have an outreach at our local church. Some of our brothers and sisters prepared food and on Wednesdays we did street evangelism in front of the church. We handed out food and could then share the Gospel to those in need as well as give some of them Bibles and prayed for their prayer requests. What an awesome time!! See pictures below:

God gave my wife a vision to get woman together every week to crochet and knit beanies and blankets for the outreach. We gather every Thursday for 3 hours. Please pray for a fruitful ministry. The idea is to pray over the handwork and bless the receiver to repent and have a fruitful relationship with the Living God. She has already got three ladies who are willing to help. Please pray for more people and provision for the wool needed. If you feel lead to contribute to this project (Wool you pray 4 me) you can use our missionary account with the reference: WoolUPray. 

We continued with the ministry at the school; we have Bible study on Thursdays and an English church service on Sundays. The new converts each receive a new Bible. We handed out new Bibles and prayed over each of them for a hunger and a thirst for the Word. See the photos below of some of them.

We needed 15 new Bibles and praise the LORD, someone gave so we can go and get the desperately needed Bibles. Please continue to pray with us for His future provision. Also please continue to pray for the 4 schools in our area.

We celebrated 10 birthdays this month where we could pray for them and bless them while trusting our Father to bring them to a place where they walk in the fullness of His purpose for their lives in His holy Name. Below is a photo of some of them:

Praise the Lord also for my mom who move last month to Dewetsdorp. She has adapted quite well and has already made new friends. It is so good for her to be close and to be able spend time with us and 4 of her grandchildren. 

Thank you to all of you who gave so that the Good Word, Who is the Good SEED, can go out and accomplish His will in the lives of these precious sons and daughters.

 

Please continue to pray for us:

 

❖ For my wife’s health. We trust the LORD for her complete healing. We have received the results for the tests that the hospital has ran and they did not find anything alarming. The Dr said that it could be IBS and/or stomach ulcers. She is using natural medication at the moment.

❖ We need to replace some of the seals on the gearbox of the car. Hopefully, we will be able to do that as soon as we get the necessary funds for this. We have booked the appointment in faith for the 6^th of June.

❖ For my mother. She has moved to Dewetsdorp. Please pray for her complete healing, her eyes have cataracts and she needs the operation. She is booked for eye specialist appointment on the 30^th of May. The Dr said he can do the first eye in December.

❖ All the counselling sessions that are scheduled for the coming month.

❖ All the Bible study-, ministering and Church services scheduled for the coming month.

❖ All the teachings going out on online social media platforms.
