Newsletter - Jesus Christ the Life Giving Breath - June 2024

 

Greetings beloved

We hope you are doing good and that it is well with your soul. 📖 I greet you all in the wonderful Name of our Great God and Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Here are the scriptures for the month:

“John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”

Luke 3:16 NKJV

“that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

Galatians 3:14 NKJV

 “Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.””

Luke 24:49 NKJV

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.””

Acts 1:8 NKJV

“And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a Life-giving Spirit(Breath).”

I Corinthians 15:45 NKJV

We give thanks to the LORD for His mercies and loving-kindness. We had the privilege to have our friend’s wedding at our local church. They have gone through the premarital Counseling sessions for the past few months. We are excited with them and bless their marriage in Jesus Mighty Name. See the picture above the scriptures as well as the one below.

I was also involved with some the outreaches for the month. Some of our brothers and sisters prepared food and we did street evangelism in front of the church. We handed out food and could then share the Gospel to those in need as well as give some of them Bibles and prayed for their prayer requests. What an awesome time!! See pictures below:

God gave my wife a ministry to get woman together every week to crochet and knit beanies and blankets for the outreaches. They gather every week for 3 hours. Please pray for this ministry. The idea is to pray over the handwork and bless the receiver to repent and have a fruitful relationship with the Living God. She has already got some ladies who are willing to help. Please pray for more people and provision for the wool needed. We continued with the ministry at the school; we have Bible study on Thursdays and an English church service on Sundays. The new converts each receive a new Bible. We handed out new Bibles and prayed over each of them for a hunger and a thirst for the Word. See the photos below of one of them.

Please continue to pray with us for His future provision. Also please continue to pray for the 4 schools in our area.

We celebrated 3 birthdays this month where we could pray for them and bless them while trusting our Father to bring them to a place where they walk in the fullness of His purpose for their lives in His holy Name. Below is a photo of one of them.

Christiaan and Zoey also ran a couple of races in the cross-country. This reminded me again of the race that we as believers run with our eyes fixed on Jesus.

“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Hebrews 12:1-2 NKJV

Thank you to all of you who gave so that the Good Word, Who is the Good SEED, can go out and accomplish His will in the lives of these precious sons and daughters.

Please continue to pray for us:

❖ For my wife’s health. We trust the LORD for her complete healing. I took her to the hospital on the 18^th of June and the Dr gave her 2 strong antibiotics.

❖ We need to repair the trailer plug controller as well as the air conditioning switch of the car. Hopefully, we will be able to do that as soon as we get the necessary funds for this.

❖ For my mother. She has moved to Dewetsdorp. Please pray for her complete healing, her eyes have cataracts and she needs the operation. She saw the eye specialist on the 30^th of May. The Dr said he can do her right eye only. She has been booked for the operation on the 4^th of December.

❖ All the counselling sessions that are scheduled for the coming month.

❖ All the Bible study-, ministering and Church services scheduled for the coming month.

❖ All the teachings going out on online social media platforms.
